Fatty Liver Disease More Condition_treatment Does Anyone Else Have A Cat With Fatty Liver Disease?

Does anyone else have a cat with fatty liver disease? - fatty liver disease more condition_treatment

My sisters cat was just diagnosed with fatty liver. What are your chances of getting out of this and a full recovery? What can we expect when we get home? All information on this disease would be greatly appreciated.

Geriatric cats are susceptible to a variety of diseases and conditions, and one of the most common is the foie gras, the accumulation of fat (lipids) in the liver tissue. Since this condition is not found in humans and dogs is, it is assumed that cats metabolize proteins and fats that could, even though the disease is considered idiopathic, suggesting that there is no known cause exists. The disease is as follows:
A former obese cat stops eating, for some reason
Without food, your body starts sending fat cells in the liver to process proteins for fuel.
The liver of cats can not be processed very efficiently, fat and more fat is stored in the liver cells.
This is not, the liver fails and the cat dies

But there is more information about http://cats.about.com/cs/healthissues/a/fatty_liver.htm
I know that where there
